| Ryan |
|
Ryan is looked up to by many in the cast, primarily because of his height. He has been told he looks like the stars of many popular TV shows and feature films, including Friends, Ed, The Practice, Say Anything and Rambo (at least from the neck up), as well as a popular televangelist. A long time improv-er, he also plays guitar, writes music and is an aspiring (aka hack) fiction writer. A motivational speaker by day, he seeks to make the world a better place, or at least a little less damn depressing. He thanks his many funny friends and family members for their comedic inspiration (intentional or otherwise).
Check out Ryan's solo music at www.myspace.com/thechuckleheads, with the caveat that he never claimed he could sing. Ryan (and his parole officer) also highly encourage you to check out Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Charlotte and Hands On Charlotte for a chance to give a little somethin' somethin' back.

| Joel |
|
Joel is a recent transplant from Jacksonville Florida. While in Jacksonville, Joel discovered his love of performing through many various venues, one of which was improv. While Joel and Jenny were in college they ran their own improv troupe as part of the acting group the Future Waiter's of America (pause for laughs at ironic title). When Joel is not acting or improving it up he enjoys the simple things in life such as: Taming wild Lemurs to help old ladies cross the street, creating models of national landmarks out of toothpicks, and making videos on YouTube. Feel free to look them up in your spare time by searching "Right-Sum" on YouTube or by clicking here. And thank you to the following people: to Jenny, Scott for putting this troupe together and Ryan for all of his organization.

| Lisa |

Lisa, our resident crazy Italian who believes everything is better with pasta, comes to us originally from the Boston area - where they think she is wicked frickin awesome!!!! She has been living in the Charlotte area for 3 1/2 years now and loves it! Lisa has been involved in theater since the age of 8 and when she is not playing around with The Chuckleheads you can usually find her doing some kind of community theater.
Her favorite role is playing "Movie Star Mom" to her 2 children Maddy and Camden who think it's just so cool that mommy is on stage (wait until they find out Mommy does it for the love of it and not to make "movie star" money or simply no money at all...oh the horror, the humanity!!!).
She is so excited to embark into the world of improv and is having an amazing time with her fellow chuckleheads Scott, Ryan, Jen, Joel and Charla -- "the family" that always keeps her laughing!!!
"The most wasted of all days is one without laughter"

People always ask me, "Chris, (I don't know why they call me Chris, but I digress) why improv comedy ? Why not a respectable art form like mime or Bancockian rooster dancing ? My answer is always the same, "Go f*** yourself !" Or on the rare occasion when I'm sober enough or not high as a zeppelin, I'll explain, "When you are born and raised a circus geek as I was, no other art form will accept you." My life (so far) has taken me from the rough and tumble streets of New Brighton, Pennsylvania (a stone's throw from Pittsburgh) to the Queen City of Charlotte, North Carolina. My improv life has included stints with (a group whose name I am forbidden to speak of by a legally binding restraining order) to the PinkTurtle Sketchprov Experience to the Actor's Crib to the Chuckleheads. It's been an intoxicating ride indeed. When I'm not improvising, (and let's face it isn't life just one big constant improvisation) my hobbies include: nude charcoal self-portraiting; non-mountainous yodeling; the ancient Chinese self defense art of Wang Chung; and performing my one man show, "Don't look at me, don't talk to me, don't touch me" to non-English speaking Pakistani exchange students at local Arby's restaurants. I think that everyone should have a motto or a creed that they live by and mine is "daddy love me." I'm just going to leave the money on the nightstand, take a quick sponge bath, and get dressed. It was nice to "meet" you Chartruse.
(In Scott's non-improv life he is very boring person with a very active imagination. He takes pride that he and his cast are very responsible, mature adults (except for Charla.) The only downside of that is that reality doesn't lend itself to a very humorous bio. If his bio offended you or makes you not want to hire our group for your special event or come to our show, he apologizes.)

| Jenny |
|
Jenny moved to Charlotte over the summer, from Jacksonville, FL, where she attended college at the University of North Florida. Jenny was the President of The Future Waiters of America her senior year, and directed, hosted, and performed in their improv troupe. In her spare time, Jenny remains active in the theatre community, and also enjoys photography and painting. She will be attending UNCC in the fall to obtain her second bachelor's degree, a BFA in Fine Art/Painting, and is planning on moving on to obtain her MFA in Fine Art/ Painting. Jenny would like to thank Woody Allen and Albert Brooks for their continued love and support, and Alicia Keys for her companionship and wise instruction in field mice hunting.
